Terms of Service
Effective July 3, 2026. These terms are a binding agreement between you and Beulah Beyond Travel. By submitting an inquiry, accepting a proposal, or paying any deposit or invoice, you accept them. Please read them, they decide what happens when travel does not go to plan.
Drafted to travel industry standards. Final confirmation by licensed counsel is pending.
1. Who we are and what we do
Beulah Beyond Travel is an independent travel advisory. We act solely as an agent and intermediary between you and the suppliers who actually provide your travel: airlines, cruise lines, resorts, hotels, tour operators, transfer companies, insurers, and excursion providers.
We do not own, operate, manage, or control any supplier. When we confirm a booking, a direct contract forms between you and that supplier. Our service is advice, planning, and coordination, and these terms govern that service.
2. Suppliers control your trip
Each supplier's own terms, including deposit rules, change fees, cancellation penalties, refund timing, baggage rules, and health requirements, govern the services they provide. We summarize the key supplier terms in your proposal and share the full terms before you pay a deposit. It is your responsibility to read them.
Because suppliers are independent third parties, we are not liable for their acts, omissions, errors, delays, overbookings, schedule changes, mechanical failures, strikes, insolvency, or failure to deliver. Any claim about the travel itself must be pursued against the supplier. We will always advocate for you, and that advocacy is goodwill, not a legal obligation to achieve a result.
3. Booking, deposits, and payments
A booking is confirmed only when the supplier accepts it and any required deposit is received. Deposits are generally non refundable, as set by the supplier. Installment schedules, when offered, list each amount and due date on your invoice.
If an installment is not paid by its due date, the supplier may cancel the booking and apply penalties, and we are not responsible for bookings lost to late payment. Partial payments are accepted but do not extend any due date.
We offer two prices on every invoice: a bank transfer price and a card price. The bank transfer price is a cash discount off the card price, never a surcharge. Zelle payments are credited when confirmed by us, and payment references must be included exactly as shown on your invoice.
Where a planning or professional fee applies, we disclose the amount before any work begins. Planning fees compensate our time and expertise and are non refundable once work has started, regardless of whether you complete a booking.
4. Pricing and errors
Quoted prices are made in good faith from supplier availability at the time and can change until the booking is confirmed and deposited. After confirmation, suppliers may still adjust prices where their terms allow, for example government taxes, fuel surcharges, or currency adjustments before final payment.
We work carefully, but obvious errors happen, a fare glitch, a misprint, a system fault. We and our suppliers reserve the right to correct an obvious error, including after acceptance, by offering you the corrected price or a full refund of amounts paid for that booking.
5. Cancellations, changes, and refunds
All cancellations and changes must be sent to us in writing (email is fine). Supplier penalties apply as of the date the supplier processes the request, and they grow as departure approaches. No shows almost always forfeit the full price.
Refunds, where the supplier allows them, are returned through the original payment path once the supplier releases the funds. Supplier refund timelines are outside our control. Our planning fees, and any portion of our compensation already earned, are not refundable.
6. Travel documents are your responsibility
You are responsible for valid passports (many destinations require at least six months of validity beyond your return date), visas, transit permissions, REAL ID compliant identification for domestic flights, and any health documentation a destination requires.
Names on bookings must match your government identification exactly. Corrections after ticketing can be expensive or impossible. We are not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, or losses caused by missing or invalid documents, and no refund is due in those cases.
7. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance for every trip, and we include an insurance quote with every proposal. Policies covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical care abroad, evacuation, and baggage exist precisely because travel carries risk.
If you decline insurance, you accept full financial responsibility for losses that a policy would have covered, including supplier cancellation penalties, medical costs abroad, and interruption losses, and you agree not to hold Beulah Beyond Travel responsible for those losses.
Policies are issued by licensed third party insurers, not by us. The insurer's policy documents control coverage, eligibility, exclusions, and claims. We are not the insurer, we do not adjust claims, and any representations about coverage are summaries, not guarantees.
8. Assumption of risk and force majeure
Travel involves inherent risks: illness, injury, weather, natural disasters, epidemics, civil unrest, terrorism, crime, and government actions including border closures and quarantine rules. By traveling you knowingly assume these risks. We encourage you to review United States State Department advisories (travel.state.gov) and CDC guidance for your destinations before booking and before departure.
Neither we nor any supplier is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including the events above, labor actions, and utility or transportation failures. In such events, supplier terms decide what refunds or credits exist, and our fees for services already performed remain earned.
9. Our liability is limited
To the fullest extent permitted by law: our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total planning and service fees you paid to Beulah Beyond Travel for the trip in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost enjoyment, lost wages, or emotional distress.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Chargebacks
You agree to contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve any billing concern before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer. You agree not to initiate a chargeback for supplier penalties you agreed to, services actually delivered, or buyer's remorse.
An improper chargeback is a breach of these terms. We may recover the disputed amount, chargeback fees, and reasonable collection costs, and we may present these terms, your itinerary, and your payment records as evidence in any dispute.
11. Group travel
For group trips, each traveler forms their own contract with the suppliers and is individually responsible for their own payments, documents, and insurance decisions. Everyone pays their own share, and one traveler's missed payment does not obligate us or the group organizer to cover it.
A group organizer who shares trip details with the group acts as a fellow traveler, not as our agent. Communications we send to the organizer about group logistics are deemed shared with the group.
12. Our website and content
The Beulah Beyond Travel name, logo, copy, and design are our property. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse them without written permission. Published testimonials appear with traveler consent and may be edited for length; ask us and we will remove yours at any time.
Website content, including destination descriptions and sample prices, is informational and can become outdated. Your proposal and invoice, not the website, state the terms of your specific trip.
13. Disputes, governing law, and arbitration
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before formal proceedings, both sides agree to try in good faith to resolve any dispute directly within 30 days of written notice.
Any dispute not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, on an individual basis only. You and we each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court. If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the remainder still applies.
14. Host agency and Seller of Travel
Beulah Beyond Travel is an independent affiliate of Travel Planners International, a host agency registered as a Seller of Travel. Several states, including California, Florida, Washington, and Hawaii, require sellers of travel to register before selling to their residents. Bookings you make with us are placed and processed under Travel Planners International's registrations rather than a separate Beulah Beyond registration.
Travel Planners International Seller of Travel registrations: Florida Reg. No. (to confirm), California No. (to confirm), Washington and Hawaii as applicable. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by any state.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you pay a deposit governs that booking. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
